Ahmedabad.Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Sardardham Building in Ahmedabad, Gujarat today. This program will be done through video conference. Apart from this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the second phase of this project by worshiping the ground. This information was given in a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel will also be present at the event. Girls hostel is to be built in the second phase of the project. It will have a hostel facility for 2000 girls.
According to the PMO, Sardardham is working towards educational and social change as well as upliftment of the weaker sections of the society and providing employment opportunities. Let's take a look at the features of the Sardar Dham Project…
Facility for 1600 students: The building is built on an area of 11,672 sq. ft. near Vaishnodevi circle in the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar border area. Sardardham Bhawan has a residential facility for 1600 students.
E-Library Provision: E-library with 1,000 computer systems, library, hi-tech classroom, gymnasium, auditorium, multi-purpose hall, resthouse with 50 luxury rooms along with other facilities for business and political groups.
Pasartima of Vallabhbhai Patel: A 50 feet high bronze statue of Radar Vallabhbhai Patel has been installed in front of Sardardham Bhawan.
Hostel facility: On this occasion, PM Modi will also organize the 'Bhoomi Pujan' ceremony for the girls' hostel under Sardardham Project Phase 2. Its objective is to provide housing to about 2500 girls students, which has been built at a cost of Rs 200 crore.
Free Coaching: Two Centers of Sardardham Project are being prepared for the candidates for UPSC/GPSC, Defense, and other Civil Services Entrance Exams. They will be given preparation as well as training for interviews and group discussion.
No food cost: Representatives of Vishwa Patidar Samaj said that students of all communities will get a chance to live and study in Sardardham Bhawan. In the press conference held on Thursday, Vice President of Vishwa Patidar Samaj TG. Jhalawadia said that the UPSC/GPSC Civil Services Training Center will provide free training to students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes as well as candidates of all castes. Re 1 will be charged as a token amount for training and meal charges.
