Medical education in Madhya Pradesh will now be taught in Hindi along with English.A committee of experts will be formed to prepare the study module. The entire syllabus will be prepared in Hindi only on the basis of the suggestion of the committee. This was stated by the Medical Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh Vishwas Sarang while interacting with the journalists on the occasion of Hindi Diwas at his residence here.
Vishwas Sarang said that the student will have a choice whether he wants to study in his mother tongue or in English.Sarang said that the convenience of studying in their mother tongue would boost the confidence of the students from poor, rural and tribal backgrounds. With this thinking, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made provisions in the new National Education Policy to study engineering and medicine in his mother tongue. He said that studies in the English language will continue as before. As soon as the report of the committee comes, all the medical colleges of the state will start teaching in English as well as in Hindi.
Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had informed on September 13 that Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Ramcharitmanas would be included in the curriculum of engineering students in the state."The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to include the epics of Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas and Mahabharata in the engineering curriculum for first-year undergraduate students, as per the New Education Policy, 2020," Yadav told reporters.
The state education minister said that anyone who wants to learn about the character and contemporary works of Lord Ram can do so through these courses. The teachers of our board of study have prepared the syllabus under NEP 2020.If we want to carry forward our glorious history, then nobody should have any problem with it.
