The price of petrol has increased after 22 days while the price of diesel has increased again.According to the country's largest fuel retailer Indian Oil Corporation, on Monday, diesel prices in the national capital had increased by 25 paise to Rs 89.32 per liter on Monday, while petrol prices continued to rise for the 22nd consecutive day. No changes were made.
Diesel prices have increased three-fold, raising its retail price per litre.The price of petrol in Mumbai was Rs 107.26 per liter which has increased to Rs 107.47 per liter after a hike of 20 paise, while the price of diesel has increased to Rs 97.21 per liter.
As per the pricing formula adopted by the oil companies, the rates of petrol and diesel are reviewed and changed by them on a daily basis.The new prices have become effective from 6 am.
