Srinagar: Security forces have caught alive a Pakistani terrorist while trying to infiltrate in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir.The terrorist's name is Ali Babar and he is 19 years old.A big conspiracy of Pakistan on the LoC has failed.An army official said that seven terrorists have been killed in the last seven days.All of them were trying to infiltrate.
Major General Virendra Vats, GOC of 19 Infantry Division said that an encounter took place on 25 September, in which one terrorist was killed, another was captured.The terrorist who surrendered in custody identified himself as a resident of the Punjab province of Pakistan.His name is Ali Babar Patra.He has admitted that he is a member of Lashkar and was trained in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan.
Major Vats said that an operation was carried out on the LoC in the Uri sector for 9 days.It started on September 18, when our patrols along the LoC detected the infiltration activity.When the encounter took place, 2 infiltrators came across the border while 4 were on the other side.After the shelling, 4 terrorists from the Pak side took advantage of the dense foliage and fled towards Pak.
