New Delhi.Prime Minister Narendra Modi is completing his 20-year term on the constitutional post on 7 October.The BJP is preparing to celebrate at the booth level on the completion of 20 years in the constitutional post of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes two decades in his constitutional post since he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001.The Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to celebrate the occasion with a series of programs on 7th October.
According to sources, the party workers will make the day special by cleaning the rivers and spreading awareness among the public about the work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the booth level and other such social programs, the news agency said.Party workers will make people aware of the policies of PM Modi at every booth of the country.Sources said that cleaning of rivers in the country will be an important part of the plan for the day under the Swachh Bharat Mission.He further informed that MLAs, MPs and others will ensure implementation of the scheme in their respective constituencies.
Another BJP source said that gurdwaras across the country will perform 'Ardas' for the long life of PM Modi and langar will be organized as part of 'Seva Samarpan'.Many Sikh committees have already done this in one or the other part of the country.
BJP national president JP Nadda had launched the 'Seva and Samarpan Abhiyan' in September at the party headquarters in the national capital to mark the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.During this, the BJP President had said that it is the vision of the Prime Minister that every person of the country should be benefited by the development works of the government.
PM Modi is also likely to visit Kedarnath
According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit the Kedarnath temple on October 7.The likely date of the Prime Minister's visit is October 6.It is believed that this will be PM Modi's second visit to the temple during his tenure, the last time he visited the Kedarnath temple in 2019.
BJP government of Uttarakhand will organize 'Shaheed Samman Yatra'
Meanwhile, assembly elections are due in February 2022 in Uttarakhand along with four more states.To especially reach out to the families whose members have served or are serving in the defense forces, the BJP government in Uttarakhand will organize a 'Shaheed Samman Yatra' in October.The yatra will be organized months before the assembly elections in the state.It is expected to boost the ruling party's prospects during this period.The party is hoping to reach out to voters in every village of the state through the yatra.
Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been the Chief Minister of Gujarat for 13 years.He later became the Prime Minister of India and currently holds the same post.
