Ranchi: Vacant posts which give impetus to development in the state's panchayats will be filled in 10 days.Panchayati Raj Department is preparing the panel of candidates to keep them on contract for 1395 posts of Junior Engineers and Computer Operator cum Accounts Assistants.There are 526 Junior Engineers and 869 Computer Operator cum Accounts Assistant posts.They will be given work under the panel.Instructions have also been given to Panchayats.
The blueprint is ready for the distribution of work among the workers: By October 5, it has been asked to mark the block and panchayat cluster for them.How to distribute the work among this personnel, it has also been decided.The Director has asked all the Deputy Commissioners that the five Panchayats identified for Computer Operator cum Accounts Assistant should be close to each other and in the same block, so that they can easily move and work.These are being kept for the work of the 15th Finance Commission.
Slow development plans in villages
After filling all the posts, the pace of development will accelerate.At present, the development plans in the villages have slowed down due to lack of man power.Efforts are being made to fill up all the posts.
At present, most of the posts related to development schemes are lying vacant in all the panchayats.This makes it difficult to work.District Panchayat Manager (DPM) is required in the state.12 out of their 25 posts are vacant.In such a situation, appointments have to be made on these posts.Block co-ordinator is also to be appointed.It has been directed that all the vacant posts should be filled by November 15.
