The Jodhpur Main Bench of the High Court has banned the issuance of Patta in the campaign being run by the State Government with the cities and villages. After the ban, now the leases of parkland, forest land, transit land, temple land, and unpaved settlements will not be issued. The division bench of Justice Sangeet Raj Lodha and Justice Manoj Kumar Garg of the Jodhpur High Court has imposed this stay after hearing a PIL filed by Roshan Vyas.
Advocate Manoj Bohra, appearing for the petitioner, told the High Court that the government is not issuing the lease as per the plan. In the order issued earlier, the court had directed to prepare the plan according to the sector plan, master plan, and zonal plan. After the hearing, the court has banned the issuance of leases under the scheme in the state. Now on October 22, the matter will be heard again.
