Lucknow.Sidhu also left for UP with a convoy of Congress leaders to meet the families of the victims in the Lakhimpur case. In such a situation, the police stopped him at the Saharanpur border. During this, there was a lot of commotion. Although the administration and police tried to convince them and also told about the permission of five people, Sidhu was adamant and said that either arrests us or let us go. Congress workers removed the police barricading and crossed him. After this, the police took Sidhu and some other leaders into custody.

There was a fierce debate between the minister, police, and Congress leaders who climbed the barricading. Everyone was adamant about going ahead but the police somehow stopped them. During this, cabinet minister Raja Vading climbed the barricade and said that if stopped, I will sit here on hunger strike. After this, many ministers and MLAs sat on a dharna at the Shahjahanpur police post. During this, Pargat Singh said that the police should do whatever they want, but we have to go to the fire in any case.

The stick system is being formed, during which Sidhu said that the representatives elected by the people are being stopped. He said that democracy is being made a danda system and I strongly oppose it. On the other hand, Punjab PCC working president Kuljeet Nagra said that the police took us into custody and we are being taken somewhere but we have not been told about where they are taking us.
