A police official said that since the killings in Kashmir during the last five days, the police and other security personnel were engaged in the search for the terrorists involved in these killings.Today, on receiving information about the presence of some terrorists in Bandipora, a joint team of SOG, Army and CRPF reached Hajin area of Bandipora and started searching for the terrorists.As soon as the security personnel reached near the hideout of the terrorists, the terrorists hiding there started firing on them.The security forces first asked him to surrender but when he did not agree, he was killed in retaliatory firing.
When the security forces identified the body after taking possession of it, it came to know that it was the same TRF terrorist who had killed the sumo driver a few days ago.The terrorist has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar.The operation of security forces is still going on in Gundjahangir Hajin of Bandipora.There is a possibility of the presence of some more terrorists in the area.
While giving information about this on his official Twitter handler, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar wrote that "The slain terrorist has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar, who belonged to the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (TRF). He was involved in the recent civilian murder in Shahgund Bandipora.
Let us tell you that earlier on Sunday, four terrorist associates were arrested by the security forces from Bandipora itself, who were also involved in the murder of Shahgund Sumo driver.The slain Imtiaz was his fifth accomplice, who escaped after the murder and joined militancy.
