Rakesh Asthana while reviewing the situation of street crime and organized crime said that a lot of action has been taken against gangsters in the recent past.Senior officers of the district have been directed to further strengthen the efforts to nab the miscreants.

The work of verification of tenants will be speeded up

He said that the officers should also conduct investigation operations in hotels, guest houses and cyber cafes of their area.Along with this, a campaign should also be launched for the verification of the tenant.More and more people should be connected with the police eye and ear scheme so that information is received from time to time.

Extra vigilance will be taken in crowded areas

According to senior officials of Delhi Police, extra vigilance will be taken especially in crowded areas during many festivals including Diwali, Chhath falling next month.Under this, security will be tightened at religious places, goods and commercial places along with congested markets of Delhi.Under this, the investigation campaign will also be intensified.

It is worth noting that the areas of Delhi and NCR, the capital of the country, remain on the target of terrorists.Especially during the festivals, apart from August 15 and January 26, there is a danger of terrorist attacks.Earlier in October 2005, a few days before the Diwali festival, Delhi was shaken by several bomb blasts.60 people lost their lives and 200 people were injured in these serial bomb blasts.
