HDFC Bank Q2 Results: HDFC Bank's consolidated net profit grew by 18 per cent to Rs 9,096 crore in the July-September quarter of the current financial year.
New Delhi.HDFC Bank, the country's largest private sector bank, on Saturday, announced its financial results for the second quarter of the current financial year (2021-22). The company's Consolidated Net Profit grew by 18 percent to Rs 9,096 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year ended September 2021.
The bank had earned a consolidated net profit of Rs 7,703 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. The bank said in a statement on Saturday that its total consolidated income increased to Rs 41,436.36 crore during the quarter as against Rs 38,438.47 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Net profit of Rs 8,834.3 crore The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 8,834.3 crore after Rs 3,048.3 crore for taxation on a single basis. This is 17.6 percent more than the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. On a standalone basis, the bank's net profit stood at Rs 7,513.1 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Single income rose to Rs 38,754.16 crore single income that is stated in the statement of the bank in the second quarter (Standalone Income) went up to Rs 38,754.16 crore from Rs 36,069.42 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
