The Central Government has released the final report of the 15th Finance Commission. Now in the light of the recommendation of the 15th Finance Commission of the state, this amount will be spent on the construction of hospitals and improvement of services in panchayats and municipal bodies. The Central Finance Commission has made a separate provision for health services.
For the first time, funds have been allocated by the Central Finance Commission for the improvement of health services of Panchayat and Municipal bodies. Regarding this, the commission has directed the Panchayati Raj Department and the Department of Urban Development and Housing Department to open a separate head for receiving the amount.
With this amount, diagnostic centers, primary health care, health sub-centers, rural primary health centers, urban primary health centers, primary health centers at block level will be set up in the village and urban bodies. Panchayati Raj Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has allocated 6017 crores for Bihar in the final report of the 15th Finance Commission for development in the health sector of panchayats and bodies.
For the development of the health sector, 1133.10 crores in the financial year 2021-22, 1133.10 crores in 20-22-23, 1189 crores in 2023-24, 1249.20 crores in 2024 25 and 1311.96 crores in 2025 26. He informed that out of this amount, 834.41 crores has been earmarked for the development of the health sub-center.
Similarly, 917.72 crores on the primary health center, 229.40 crores on development of urban primary health center, 262.69 crore on the block-level primary health center, 984.67 crores on urban health and wellness center, 1748.28 crores on development of health sub-center, PHC and CHC 1039.78 crore will be spent on health sub-center and PHC of rural area.
Earlier, oxygen plants have been established in 100 health institutions through PM Care in the health sector of Bihar.Special thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh and Chairman of 15th Finance Commission NK Singh. He said that such a huge amount has been received for strengthening rural health and urban health. This will lead to qualitative improvement in the services.
