Anganwadis and play schools have been allowed to reopen in Bengaluru from November 8.

Karnataka News: Anganwadis and play schools have been allowed to reopen in Bengaluru from November 8.These schools falling under the limits of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) have been approved to reopen on the condition of following the protocol.BBMP has taken this decision in view of the recommendations of the Technical Advisory Committee.In this, it has been advised to open those play schools, where the test positivity rate is less than 2 percent.

According to the report of news agency ANI, BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta said that the schools will have to follow the necessary Kovid protocol.Also, it is mandatory for all teachers to have full vaccination.They have to take consent letter from the parents of the children.He said that in the first phase it will open for 2 hours from 10 am to 12 noon.Parents sending their children to play school should be fully vaccinated.

Earlier, after the decline in the case of Kovid-19, the Karnataka government had opened schools on 6 September for students of classes VI to VIII and on August 23 for students of classes IX to 12.At the same time, on the basis of the recommendation of the Technical Advisory Committee of the state, it was said to open schools for the students of classes 1st to 5th.After which the schools from the first to fifth classes were opened from the last week of October.
