Delhi Chhath Puja 2021: Amidst the ban on celebrating Chhath festival at Yamuna Ghats in Delhi, Delhi Police personnel dispersed a crowd at the river ghat near Kalindi Kunj on Wednesday.Meanwhile, BJP MP Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma broke the barricading and reached the ghat to perform Chhath Puja.He is accompanied by a crowd of supporters.

Barricading has been put in Delhi's Sonia Vihar before Yamuna Ghat, so that fasting people cannot reach the Ghat to perform Chhath Puja.In view of the Corona epidemic, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has banned Chhath Puja at Yamuna Ghats.Despite this, some devotees have reached ITO Yamuna Ghat in Delhi.A devotee said, we do not know whether we will be allowed to enter the ghat here or not.We worship here every year that's why we have come today to worship.
