Patna. The meeting of the Bihar cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. A total of 22 agendas were stamped in the meeting. Many important decisions have been taken in this. The cabinet today approved the proposal to change the geography of three districts of Bihar. Pahleja area of ​​Saran district and some part of Vaishali district will now come under Patna district. With this decision of the government, the area of ​​Saran and Vaishali districts will be reduced while that of Patna district will increase.

Taking an important decision, the Nitish cabinet has approved Rs 21746.40 lakh (two hundred and seventeen crore forty six lakh forty thousand) for the acquisition of a total of 50 acres of land in Kanhauli of Bihta zone for the proposed new bus stand in Patna. Approval of Rs 217 crore was given for the bus stand to be built at Kanholi near Bihta. Bus stand will be ready in 50 acres.

Apart from these decisions, the cabinet has approved the reduction of VAT in petrol and diesel in other decisions which have been approved. The rate of VAT on petrol was reduced to 23.58 percent, while the rate of VAT on diesel was reduced to 16.37 percent. The proposal to buy 750 ambulances was also approved. Pensioners will get the benefit of dearness allowance from July.

According to the Sixth Central Pay Commission, government servants, pensioners/family pensioners of the state government receiving unrevised pay scale/pension, with effect from 1-7-2021, instead of 189 percent dearness allowance was approved at 196 percent. In order to strengthen the 102 ambulance service fleet in Bihar with 100 ambulance capacity, in addition to the 250 ambulances sanctioned in 2021-22, new 534 ALSA ambulances and 216 BLSA ambulances were procured.

Three crore sanctioned to Gandhi Smriti Sangrahalaya from Bihar Asmrity Fund. Wi-Fi connectivity will increase in the state's Polytechnic and Women's Polytechnic College. 79.11 crore approved for increasing Wi-Fi connectivity.

For General Administration Department, 69 posts will be reinstated through BPSC. Rs 18 crore 96 lakh approved for Scheduled Castes and Tribes Department. Ashraf Jamal, the then liquor superintendent of Saharsa, was dismissed from service.

Those officers, employees working in government and private sector who are transferred from one state to another. During this, the Bihar government took a decision in view of the difficulty in the transfer of his personal vehicle. The Central Motor Vehicles Manual of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, was implemented. Bihar Motor Vehicle Tax Implantation Act 1994 was amended to implement the status quo of BH Series in the state of Bihar.
