According to the information, the person who returned from South Africa is a resident of Dombili in Thane district. Officials of Kalyan-Dombili Municipal Corporation said that in the test report of the person, Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in him. However, the Omicron variant is yet to be confirmed. According to Health Officer Dr. Pratibha, the person had returned from South Africa on November 24. Since then he has not come in contact with anyone. Despite this, he has been sent to isolation.

The new variant of Corona has spread in 10 countries, so far the new variant Omicron has spread to ten countries of the world including Botswana, South Africa, Belgium, Israel, Germany, Australia, UK. After this many countries have started banning their international flights. At the same time, Israel has completely closed its borders.
