Earthquake tremors were felt in Tamil Nadu this morning. Vellore district was the epicenter of the earthquake.

Chennai.Earthquake tremors were felt in Tamil Nadu early today.The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 3.6 on the Richter scale.Tremors were felt in Vellore district at 4:17 am.According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 25 km.The epicenter of the earthquake was located 59 km west-southwest of Vellore.However, so far no news of any kind of damage has been reported in these tremors.Let us tell you that the tremors of earthquake are felt in some or the other corner of the country.Before this, news of earthquakes is heard and read from the northeast also.

Let us tell you that recently, strong tremors of earthquake were felt in the morning on the Indo-Myanmar border, 175 km east of Chittagong, Bangladesh.Its intensity was measured at 6.3 on the Richter scale.However, there was no report of any damage in these tremors.

Significantly, earthquake tremors were also felt in West Bengal, Tripura and Assam in India.According to EMSC's post, tremors were felt in most parts of Kolkata and Guwahati as well.According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 occurred at 5:15 am.The central nodal agency that monitors earthquake activities in the country also said that its epicenter was at a depth of 12 km and 73 km south-east of Aizawl in Mizoram.
