Dengue outbreak in Delhi: More than 8200 cases registered this year, 6700 patients found in November

The year 2015 saw a massive dengue outbreak.

Dengue cases in Delhi: This season have increased to more than 8200. Of these, over 6700 cases have been registered in November. A total of 5,277 dengue cases were reported on November 17, the highest in the capital since 2015. On November 22, the number of these cases had increased to 7128.

Around 1148 new cases have been registered in the last one week. According to the report on vector-borne diseases released on Monday, a total of 8276 dengue cases have been registered this season till November 27. Earlier 4431 were registered in 2016, 4726 in 2017, 2798 in 2018, 2036 in 2019 and 1072 in 2020.
