A single bench of Justice Rahul Chaturvedi in the Allahabad High Court heard his bail plea.

Before the UP elections, Samajwadi Party's strongman Azam Khan has once again come into the limelight. Actually, Allahabad High Court has reserved the verdict on Azam Khan's bail plea. His bail application was heard in court on Saturday. Azam Khan is in jail for almost two years.

According to the information, a single bench of Justice Rahul Chaturvedi in the Allahabad High Court heard his bail plea. During the hearing, Azam Khan's lawyer said that he has been deliberately implicated for political reasons. The co-accused in this case is still out of jail. At the same time, during the hearing, the lawyer of the UP government opposed the bail.

It has been said on behalf of the UP government that Azam Khan occupied the property of Waqf and made a private university on his land. On behalf of the government, it was further said that the DM has done an investigation in this matter, only after that the case was instituted.

Let us inform that Azam Khan has been booked in many cases including waqf property grab and is currently lodged in Sitapur Jail. Azam Khan, who was a strong minister in the SP government, is in jail for almost two years. Azam Khan is currently also a SP MP from Rampur.
