According to the information, Lata Mangeshkar has not come out of the house for the last two years. In the year 2019, he was admitted to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing. After which Singer was hospitalized for about 28 days. After being discharged from the hospital, Lata did not come out of the house. According to media reports, many staff work in Lata Mangeshkar's house, who used to go out to bring essential items. One of these staff was found to be Corona positive in the past. After which Didi along with the rest of the staff also underwent a corona test, in which the singer was found to be corona positive. After which he was brought to the hospital. He will be kept under observation for 7 to 8 days by the doctors. A team of five doctors is treating Lata Mangeshkar in the hospital. This team is headed by Dr. Pratima Samdani.

The news of Lata Mangeshkar being Corona positive spread like fire on social media. At the same time, his fans are constantly praying for his health. Lata's sister Usha Mangeshkar told in the past, "We cannot go to see Didi as it is a COVID case. Although there are enough doctors and nurses. She will recover soon."
