After getting RDX in Gurdaspur, Punjab, now five kg RDX has been found in Dhanoa Kalan, a border village of Amritsar. It is being told that this explosive recovered on Friday morning was to be used to terrorize Punjab during the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections. This RDX was kept hidden in the field near the main road of the village.

After the recovery of the explosive, the Special Task Force (STF) team has started a search operation in the entire village. As soon as the information was received, SSP Rakesh Kaushal and other officers reached the spot and this village and the entire surrounding area, located a short distance from the Indo-Pak border, was converted into a police cantonment. Anti-bomb squad has been called on the spot after the weapons were found. On the other hand, the police have taken some suspects into custody and they are being interrogated.

According to Amandeep, this material was to be used for making IED. The consignment was provided to Amandeep by self-proclaimed chief of ISYF (Rode) Lakhbir Singh Rode, who is currently residing in Pakistan, with the help of his accomplice and operator of this terrorist group Sukhpreet Singh alias Sukh resident of Dinanagar.
