Swami Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati sat on a dharna at Sarvanand Ghat on Thursday evening demanding the release of Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi and started his fast.

In protest against the arrest of former Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board chairman Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi, the Mahant of Devi Mandir in Dasna, Ghaziabad and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yati Narasimhanand of Juna Akhara continued on Saturday. He says that he will not take food and water till Tyagi is released. Earlier on Friday, the City Magistrate and CO City arrived to persuade him, but he did not agree.

Swami Yati Narasimhanand Saraswati sat on a dharna on Thursday evening at Sarbananda Ghat, demanding the release of Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi, who was arrested for making inflammatory speeches in the Parliament of Religions held in Kharkhari, North Haridwar from December 17 to 19. and started fasting. On Friday morning, the police force stood at the picket site throughout the day. In the evening, City Magistrate Awadhesh Singh and CO City Shekhar Suyal met him.

During this time Swami Yati Narasimhanand told the City Magistrate that everyone should be sent to jail. He said that government officials are saving their jobs. He said that Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi was not arrested when Waseem Rizvi was there. He will not take food and water until Waseem Rizvi is released.

Government should not dare to take the exam

Opposing the arrest of Wasim Rizvi alias Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi, Kashi Sumeru Peethadheeshwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati said that the government and the police administration should not make the mistake of daring to test the patience of Sanatan Dharma devotees. There is good in this. Otherwise, imagine once what could be the terrible consequences of the volcano of Sanatani's anger. He said that the Constitution of the country gives the right to self-defense to every citizen. The whole world is suffering from Jihadi ideology. Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi has not said anything wrong, so the government and the police administration should respectfully release him and apologize to the followers of Sanatan Dharma.
