Security agencies have received inputs that IED blast can be done in the valley at the behest of ISI. Apart from this, there is a conspiracy to disturb the atmosphere by attacking security forces and killing policemen and civilians. There is also a possibility of drone attacks on security installations along the LoC and the International Border (IB). Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba have been entrusted for this.

Sources associated with the security agency said that inputs have been received through several channels that violence has been hatched from across the border. For this, conspiracies are being made to incite youth by using social media platforms. Under this, instigating youth against the central and state government and indulging in terrorist activities includes carrying out attacks. Sources reveal that by entrusting the responsibility to Jaish and Lashkar from across the border, maximum number of hybrid terrorists have been asked to entrust the task of incidents so that they can carry out the incidents without any doubt.

Sources said that Dr. Asif Dar, a resident of Kupwara, who is in Pakistan these days, is working for the terrorist organization Lashkar. He is tricking the youth of the valley through social media. He has prepared many youths to attack the security forces who were caught by the security forces in the past. Not only this, the responsibility of the attack has also been given to the Pakistani terrorists operating in the valley for the violence, who can carry out the incident with the help of local terrorists. Sources said that there is no input from the terrorists to target any particular place, but the republic can target the ceremony site and adjoining areas in Srinagar, installations along the LoC, power projects.

IED danger signs found in Bandipora and Srinagar

Sources in the security agency said that the terrorists have started collecting material for the IED attack. A 10 kg IED kept hidden in an apple orchard in Bandipora on January 15 and Cooker IED was recovered from Nowhatta area of ​​Srinagar on January 14. Earlier, the IED planted by the terrorists was also recovered on the Srinagar-Kupwara highway. In Ganderbal too, a cache of explosives hidden by the terrorists was recovered from the apple orchard on Friday. It also contained materials used to make rocket launcher grenades and IEDs.

Alert after input, increased security

Security forces have been alerted after receiving inputs of a conspiracy to disturb the atmosphere from across the border. Continuous search operations are being conducted on IB and LoC in Samba, Kathua and Poonch of Jammu division. Anti-tunneling work is also being done by BSF on the international border. In addition, security has been beefed up at all security establishments in the Valley. The checkpoints have also been extended. Road opening party has been alerted on Srinagar-Baramulla and Srinagar-Kupwara highways including Jammu-Srinagar highway. Vehicles are constantly being checked at the nakas. Action is also being taken against undesirable elements.
