Incident: The accused, who came out on bail, shot two youths, one died, the other was in critical condition

Two youths were shot dead in Sultanpuri area on Monday night. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where one was declared brought dead, while the other is in critical condition. Shortly after the incident, the accused was arrested by the police from the area. The accused had come out on bail on January 14 in the rape case. Police is investigating after interrogating the accused.

District Deputy Commissioner of Police Parvinder Singh said that the arrested accused has been identified as Irfan. Police have recovered pistol, cartridges and empty shells from the spot from his possession. The police officer said that the incident happened at 8.30 pm on Monday night. Police had received information about two youths being shot in B4 block area of ​​Sultanpuri. Police reached the spot. Two youths were lying in a pool of blood. Both were taken to the hospital by the police. Where doctors declared a young man named Heera dead, while Narsingh is undergoing treatment.

Both lived with the family in Sultanpuri area. During interrogation, it was found that Irfan was caught in the rape case last year. He came out on bail on Friday. In the night, he along with one of his companions had reached the park to meet the brother of the victim. When there was an altercation and a scuffle over some matter, the accused shot both of them. Shortly after the incident, the police arrested the accused from the area and interrogating him is getting information about the reasons for the murder.
