After the stormy innings of Dinesh Karthik 's 66 and Maxwell's 55, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals by 16 runs in the 27th match of IPL 2022 (IPL 2022) on the back of Jose Hazlewood's lethal bowling. Karthik scored 66 runs in 34 balls with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes and was not out till the end. Whereas Maxwell scored 55 runs in 34 balls with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes. Shahbaz Ahmed made 32 not out in 21 balls with the help of 3 fours and 1 six.
Jose Hazlewood smashed Delhi

Warner scored 66 runs in 38 balls with the help of 4 fours and 5 sixes. Mohammad Siraj gave the first blow to Delhi. After getting the life of Dinesh Karthik, a stormy innings played in the last over and a half-century from Glenn Maxwell, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made a strong score of 189 for five against Delhi Capitals on Saturday, recovering from the initial setbacks. Maxwell scored 55 runs in 34 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes to rescue RCB from the initial blow. Later, Karthik (66 not out off 34 balls, five fours, five sixes) made an unbroken partnership of 97 runs for the sixth wicket with Shahbaz Ahmed (31 not out off 21 balls, three fours, one six). RCB added 69 runs in the last four overs.
RCB did not start well
RCB didn't have a good start. Opting to bat first after losing the toss, RCB lost both opener Anuj Rawat (nil) and captain Faf du Plessis (eight) within the first three overs, taking the score to 13 for two. Delhi continued to bowl tight and conceded 40 runs in the powerplay despite some sloppy shots from Maxwell. RCB lost the wicket of Virat Kohli (12 runs in 14 balls) on the same score, who was run out beautifully by Lalit Yadav.
