Apart from Dhoni, PIL has been filed against six people including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan.

In the petition filed against 6 players, including Dhoni, celebrities have been accused of promoting online betting and gambling (online betting and gambling). This petition has been filed by a lawyer named Vinod Dwivedi. It has been said in the petition that many states of the country including Bihar, Telangana, Karnataka have banned such online betting and gambling, but this has not been done in Madhya Pradesh.

These youths are losing money in speculation and taking steps like suicide by going into depression. In this regard, the petitioner had also issued notice to the parties, but no one has replied.

On Monday (2.5.22), the petition was heard before a two-judge bench. The court asked the petitioner that he has demanded a ban on online games, but has not made the government a party. The court extended the hearing till May 10, allowing the petitioner to amend the petition.
