Internet services have been banned in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district for 24 hours.
The district administration in Rajasthan's Bhilwara has suspended internet services for 24 hours. Tension prevailed in the district after the murder of a youth late on Tuesday night. It has been decided to shut down internet services for security reasons. District Collector Ashish Modi said that internet services will remain suspended in Bhilwara till 6 am on Thursday, May 12.
A young man was stabbed to death by some people late on Tuesday night at the New Housing Board located in Shastrinagar, Bhilwara. On coming to know about the incident, a large number of people gathered at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital late in the night. The situation turned tense. However, top police officers were also present on the spot. The Hindu organization on Wednesday demanded the arrest of the accused and compensation for the victim's family. Along with this, Bhilwara has been called for bandh on Wednesday. In view of the incident, the city has been converted into a cantonment for security reasons. Heavy police force is deployed everywhere.
It is being told that Adarsh Tapadia, 20-year-old son of Bhopalpura Road resident Omprakash Tapadia, was called outside the Brahmani Sweets shop in New Housing Board at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night, when Adarsh reached there, the people present on the spot He injured him by slashing him with a knife. After the attack, the youth remained lying on the road covered in blood. The attackers fled after the incident. When some passersby took the young man to the hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead. The cause of death of the youth is said to be stabbing in the chest.
