Public interest litigations filed suo motu regarding the pathetic condition of treatment in the famous government hospital RIMS (RIMS) in Jharkhand were heard in the Jharkhand High Court today. A division bench of Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad expressed displeasure over the working style of RIMS after hearing through video conferencing. The division bench, while dismissing the review petition filed by RIMS, imposed a fine of Rs 50,000. RIMS Director did a show cause. Along with this, the court asked why the contempt proceedings should not be initiated against you.
Show Cause to RIMS Director
The Jharkhand High Court expressed strong displeasure over the RIMS management for not complying with the order during the hearing of the PIL. The Bench has issued show cause notice to RIMS Director. Along with this, it has been asked why the contempt process should not be started against you. Let us tell you that in the past, all the sanctioned and vacant posts in RIMS had ordered to complete the recruitment process within four months.
RIMS is promoting outsourcing
The Jharkhand High Court said that RIMS filed a review petition and took the time of the court. The court is being misled. The court wants to fill the vacant posts in RIMS as soon as possible, while RIMS is promoting outsourcing. That won't do. Even after the instructions, RIMS did not comply with the order.
