Deoghar: Deoghar airport is all set to start air service before Shravani Mela. It is expected that Shiva devotees coming to Deoghar in Shravani Mela will be able to take advantage of the air service. Airport Authority of India Chairman Sanjeev Kumar inspected the civil and technical work of Deoghar Airport and expressed satisfaction over starting the air service from here.
Instructions to complete the remaining work soon
The chairman has held a meeting with the officials and asked them to complete the remaining work in the airport soon. Along with this, the state government officials have also been suggested to prepare the approach road of the airport in 15 days. He said that the design of the terminal of Deoghar airport has been prepared after being influenced by the famous Baba Baijnath temple. Before the inauguration of Shravani Mela, final trials will be conducted with the airlines of two airlines company SpiceJet and Indigo. After this, there will be a meeting with other airlines companies in the headquarter to start air service from Deoghar Airport.
The service of the first 180 capacity aircraft will start
The team of DGCA, Delhi also inspected the Deoghar airport on Wednesday evening. DGCA officials inspected the technical point of Deoghar airport to start the flight of upper aircraft i.e. 320 high grade from Deoghar airport, in which Deoghar airport was found fit. In the coming time, service of big aircraft like 4C will also start from Deoghar airport. At present, air service of 180-capacity aircraft is going to start at Deoghar Airport. From the next phase, 320 flights will be filled from Deoghar airport. Regional Executive Director of Airport Authority of India Manoj Gangal said that there is also a plan to start international flights from Deoghar airport in future. Let us inform that due to the commissioning of Deoghar Airport, the passengers of Jharkhand, Bihar and Bengal will be facilitated. At the same time, Deoghar airport will be in between Kolkata, Patna, Bagdogra and Ranchi airports.
