UP Budget 2022: The first budget of the second term of the Yogi government was presented in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Thursday. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, while presenting the budget on the floor of the House, talked about promoting tourism at religious places in UP. Along with this, took special care of Lord Shri Ram's Ayodhya and Kashi, the city of Shiva. It was started for the development of one tourist destination in each assembly constituency.
Chitrakoot also took special care
The maximum provision of Rs 250 crore has been made in the budget for the Chief Minister's Tourist Places Scheme. The purpose of this scheme is to develop one tourist destination at the local level. Proposals were sought from the MLAs for this scheme. Along with the overall development of tourism, special care has been taken for Ayodhya and Kashi in the budget. Rs 100 crore for the development and beautification of tourism facilities in the Ayodhya and Kashi system is proposed. A provision of 3 crore 50 lakhs is proposed in the budget for the development of Chitrakoot where Lord Rama spent maximum time with Sita and Lakshmana during his exile.
An eye on the Maha Kumbh of 2025
At the same time, the state government has made a budget of Rs 100 crore for the preparation of Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj in 2025. The government is making every effort for this event to be held in Sangam city. Devotees from all over the country and abroad will come to this event. In such a situation, taking care of their every facility, the schemes are being completed expeditiously. The Yogi government does not want to leave any stone unturned regarding the Maha Kumbh going to be held in the year 2025. Pucca ghats will be constructed on the Sangam bank. Cleanliness efforts and widening of city roads will be completed at the fair site. The government also plans to increase the facilities in the fair area for year-round activities like food court, exhibition, water sports etc. Due to the successful organization of Kumbh in the year 2019, the state was recognized from all over the country.
