The verdict of former Begusarai MP Rajo Singh murder case will come on June 3.

The verdict in the murder case of former Begusarai MP Rajo Singh will come on June 3. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, Special Judge ADJ III Sanjay Singh on Friday fixed June 3 as the date for pronouncement of the verdict. During the long judicial process which lasted for 17 years, there were many twists in the case. There were also allegations of involvement of many Hon'ble in this matter. Now all eyes are fixed on the decision of the court coming on June 3.

Shot was fired in Congress office

Former Congress MP Rajo Singh was shot dead on September 9, 2005 at 6:45 pm at Azad Hind Ashram, Congress office in the city area. Government employee Shyam Kishore Singh, resident of Lohan village, who was in consultation with Rajo Singh on the spot, was also shot dead by the criminals. Eight armed criminals riding on four bikes carried out the incident.

Grandson MLA Sudarshan Kumar had lodged an FIR

In this regard, the present Barbigha MLA Sudarshan Kumar, grandson of Rajo Singh, had lodged an FIR at the police station. During the lengthy judicial process in this case, the prosecution presented 36 witnesses in the court. In this, apart from the pointer MLA Sudarshan Kumar, doctors, police officers, villagers, eyewitnesses etc. were involved. On behalf of the defense, many facts were presented along with the argument to falsely implicate the people accused in this case.

Decision will come on June 3

Now all eyes are fixed on the decision of the court coming on June 3. During the long judicial process which lasted for 17 years, there were many twists in the case. There were also allegations of involvement of many Hon'ble in this matter. During the hearing on Friday, the accused Shambhu Yadav, Pintu Mahato, Anil Mahato and others were present in the court.
