The entire part will be greenfield

The entire part of this expressway will be greenfield. There is no plan to include any old road in the expressway. This expressway will also have connectivity with other roads including Gorakhpur-Azamgarh Link Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. In this way it will be easy to travel from Siliguri to major cities of Uttar Pradesh as well as Delhi.

Distance will be reduced to less than 600 km

At present there is no direct road between Gorakhpur to Siliguri. Because of this, it takes a long time to cover the distance from Gorakhpur to Siliguri.
