Appreciate the support of the Foundation

Our performance is better than the national average on several parameters. In this work too, we have got the support of the Foundation. He said that during Covid, cooperation has been given by the foundation in Uttar Pradesh. Be it providing testing kits or setting up dedicated Covid Hospitals in Gautam Budh Nagar, Gonda and Prayagraj districts, the foundation has cooperated in all these works.
'Encephalitis controlled up to 95 percent'
The CM said that UP has achieved remarkable success in the field of health and nutrition in recent years. For the last 40 years, many innocent children died due to encephalitis in the state. Now untimely death due to this disease has been controlled up to 95 percent. We have received good support from global organizations like UNICEF, WHO, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and PATH in various water-borne diseases including encephalitis and covid management etc.
'Connect farmers with technology'
Chief Minister Yogi said that a lot has to be done in the state in the field of health security. But availability of skilled nursing or paramedical staff is a big challenge for us. The foundation can cooperate with the state government to prepare qualified and skilled and professional nursing staff, paramedical staff. It should be extended on digital platform. He said that similarly there is immense potential for development in the field of agriculture in the state. UP has to be gifted from nature in the form of abundant water resources and fertile land. It will be useful to connect farmers with technology, give training and make them aware on various research works in the agriculture sector.
'UP is better than America in covid management'
On this occasion, the CEO of the foundation, Marks Suzman, said that he works in many countries. He has seen the Covid management of all the countries. It would be fair to say that the Covid management of India especially Uttar Pradesh has been far better than the Covid management of America.
