The Union Home Ministry on Friday issued a statement to the police of all the states and union territories after receiving information about several incidents of violence in different parts of the country.

Meanwhile, several other states including Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Punjab, Hyderabad and Gujarat also witnessed massive protests against the controversial remarks of the leader.
