There was peace in the city on Sunday.

After the incident of violence in the capital Ranchi on June 10, now slowly the situation has started returning to normal. The peaceful people of Ranchi have foiled the efforts of the miscreants. On Sunday, life was normal except in the areas of Main Road and the Upper Market. At the same time, in this case, the police is interrogating 12 people by taking them into custody, while 1 has been arrested. The arrested youth was identified through the CCTV camera. A large number of police buses are still stationed in the main road. Many shops were generally closed on Sunday. There was relief among the people due to the restoration of internet service.

Section 144 made six police stations free:

Here, in view of the normalcy of Ranchi, the district administration has removed Section-144 from six out of 12 police station areas of the capital on Sunday. From where Section 144 has been removed, they include Lalpur, Bariatu, Sukhdevnagar, Sadar police station, Jagannathpur and Gonda police station areas. However, Section 144 will remain in force till further orders in Daily Market, Kotwali, Hindpiri, Chutia, Lower Bazar and Doranda police station areas, which are considered sensitive areas. People of these areas have been given permission to shop between 1 pm to 5 pm.

Youth involved in attacking Bihar's road construction minister arrested

Ranchi's Lower Bazar police station has arrested a youth on Sunday in connection with the attack on Bihar's Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen, who was passing through the main road during the incident. The name of the youth is Mo Anish (19 years). He is a resident of Pahari Tola of Sukhdevnagar in Ranchi. The youth has been identified on the basis of CCTV footage. The minister's car was vandalized. The minister had lodged the case through email.

Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan told a press conference on Sunday that the situation in the capital is returning to normal. On June 10, minimal force was used to control the mad mob. If the police administration had not been there beforehand, the situation could have been dire.

The DC said that internet service has been restored in view of the situation. Two people have been reported dead while controlling the mob. SSP Surendra Kumar Jha said that so far 25 cases have been registered in various police stations of Ranchi in connection with the incident on June 10 in Main Road. In this, a case has been registered against 22 named and more than a thousand unknowns.

Daily Market, Kotwali, Hindpiri, Chutia, Lower Bazar and Doranda police station areas.

Meaning of Section 144 remaining in force

In these areas, people will be able to shop between 1 pm to 5 pm. There will be a ban on the gathering of more than four people together. However, schools and colleges will be exempted from this.
