The connection of Punjab's famous singer Sidhu Musewala's murder has been linked to Bihar. In this case, the Punjab Police has arrested a criminal named Mohammed Raja from Mirganj in Gopalganj. Muhammad used to work for the gangs of Raja Lawrence Vishnoi and Goldie Brar in Delhi, Punjab and Bihar. After his arrest, the Punjab Police took him to Ludhiana on transit remand.
Local police also involved in the action
Earlier, Punjab Police arrested gangster Shakti Singh and Afzal Khan of Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh in a joint operation with Delhi Police. After the arrest, the connection of the Moosewala murder case is being investigated by the Punjab Police. Gopalganj SP Anand Kumar said that the police of the local Mirganj police station was involved in the action.
Raja has many criminal cases registered
Raja has several criminal cases registered against him in the Mirganj and Uchkagaon police stations of Gopalganj, including attempt to murder, dacoity, and Arms Act. The investigation has revealed that Raja used to handle 25 bank accounts and extortion money used to come in them. In the name of Lawrence Vishnoi, extortion was sought and some money has also been transacted. At present, the Punjab Police is busy interrogating the Raja of Gopalganj and some big revelations can be made in the coming days.
Sidhu Musewala was murdered on 29th May
Sidhu Musewala was a famous singer and Congress leader of Punjab, who was murdered on 29 May by unknown shooters in Jawaharke village of Mansa district of Punjab. The police suspected Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi Group in the murder case and started questioning Lawrence. Lawrence made many disclosures during the interrogation. After this, on June 4, extortion was demanded from the Ludhiana businessman and if he did not give, he was threatened with the consequences like Moosewala.
