BJP leaders have been provided Y category security after violence erupted in Bihar against Agneepath scheme.

Agneepath Violence in Bihar: The Union Home Ministry has provided VIP security of CRPF to 10 BJP MLAs and leaders in Bihar in view of the threat posed by people protesting against the 'Agneepath' scheme for recruitment in the army. Officials gave this information on Saturday. The BJP MLAs/leaders who have been given this Y category security include Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi, State BJP President and West Champaran MP Sanjay Jaiswal, Bisfi MLA Haribhushan Thakur, Darbhanga MLA Sanjay Saraogi and other leaders.

Y security to BJP leaders

This move of the Center has come to the fore after the allegations of Bihar BJP chief Sanjay Jaiswal. He had alleged that the properties of BJP leaders were damaged by the protesters in the state and the state police did not take any action. Seeing everything, the police remained silent. Jaiswal, Deputy CM Renu Devi, Deputy CM Tarkishore Prasad, Sanjeev Chaurasia, Haribhushan Thakur, Araria MP Pradeep Singh, Darbhanga MP Gopal Ji Thakur, MLC Ashok Agarwal, MLC Dilip Jaiswal, Sanjay Saraogi and Vijay Khemka are included in the Y category security. Huh.

Threat to BJP leaders

CRPF personnel will be deployed with these leaders under 'Y' category security. The central leadership of BJP believes that Bihar Police is not capable of providing security to these leaders. Earlier, Jaiswal had blamed the Nitish Kumar government for allowing arson in Bihar. Officials said that this decision was taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the basis of reports received from central intelligence agencies. In which it was said that there is a danger of physical harm to the legislators and leaders.

Decision taken due to violence

Officials said the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been asked to immediately deploy armed commandos of its VIP security unit to protect these BJP MLAs and leaders, who are being held against the recently launched 'Agneepath' scheme. There is danger in the wake of violence.

Two to three commandos will be deployed

He said that under Y category security, two-three commandos will be deployed to protect the person. On Friday, there were reports of massive violence and arson from Bihar and some other states. During this, the BJP office and its leaders were also targeted.
