A court in Shahjahanpur district had sentenced a man named Manoj to death for the murder of a five-year-old child.
Manoj, who is lodged in Shahjahapur Jail, has studied from jail and passed the high school examination in first class. The result of this year's high school examination of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) was declared on Saturday. The prisoner Manoj Yadava is a resident of the police station Kalan area and he is guilty of shooting and killing five-year-old Anmol on 28 January 2015. In this case, he was sentenced to death on 24 November 2021.
Even before the sentence was pronounced, Manoj had filled the class 10 form from the jail itself. Books etc. were made available to Manoj for studies in the jail itself and from time to time updates about his studies were also taken from him. Prisoner Manoj has now passed the examination in first division by scoring 64 percent marks. Let us inform that the result of UP Board (UPMSP) has been released on June 18. The result has been declared on the official websites of the board upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in. This time 88.18 percent of students have got success in 10th, while 85.33 percent of students have achieved success in 12th.
