Mr Pathak informed that the UP government has given priority to Agniveers for recruitment in police and allied forces, Haryana government has given preference in job, Assam government has given preference in state police recruitment and Karnataka government has given preference in police recruitment. Under the new model, online registration on the army's recruitment website (joinindianarmy.nic.in) is mandatory for the candidates.
