After the passage of this law from the US Senate, the chances of it being passed by Parliament have increased.

To curb the incidents of frequent shootings in the US, its parliament has passed the historic gun safety law. Once this law is passed by Parliament, Americans will have the right to keep weapons only for self-defense. Earlier, the US Supreme Court gave its decision expanding the rights to own a gun. After the passage of this law from the US Senate, the chances of it being passed by Parliament have increased. Here Speaker Nancy Pelosi has already raised her voice about the gun safety law.

Earlier, the US Supreme Court expanded the right to own a gun, saying that Americans have the right to hold a firearm in public for self-defense. This decision has come after the recent incidents of mass shootings. The court's decision will eventually allow more people to legally carry weapons on the streets of major US cities and elsewhere, including New York, Los Angeles and Boston.

A quarter of America's population lives in the states where this system will be effective. It is the first arms decision by a high court in more than a decade, quashing a restrictive New York gun law, a major arms rights regime. The judges of the court came in a fractured 6-3 verdict. This court order comes at a time when the US Parliament is actively working on arms legislation after the recent mass shootings in Texas, New York and California.
