BSP supremo Mayawati has encouraged BSP candidate Shah Alam by tweeting.

BJP candidate Dinesh Lal Nirahua won the by-election in the Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat. On the other hand, SP candidate Dharmendra Yadav, who was at number two, had to face defeat, while BSP remained at number three consecutively with a slight difference. In such a situation, now BSP supremo Mayawati has encouraged Shah Alam by tweeting. Also appealed to the party workers and office bearers to maintain similar struggle in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Bahujan Samaj Party's national president Mayawati tweeted, "The struggle and courage with which all BSP workers, office bearers and party candidate Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali have fought the Azamgarh Lok Sabha by-election. It is also necessary to maintain the electoral readiness as per the resolution to continue it till the 2024 Lok Sabha general elections.

The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh further wrote that, not only Azamgarh but BSP has to continue the struggle and efforts to convert the ground preparation into votes for the 2024 Lok Sabha general elections in the whole of UP. In this sequence, it is also very important to protect a particular community from being misled in all the upcoming elections.
