Rath Yatra 2022: There is a Rath Yatra on July 1 . Preparations for the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath are in full swing in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district. After a gap of two years due to the global pandemic Corona, the chief Jagannath's Rath Yatra will come out on July 1. There is enthusiasm among the devotees of Seraikela, Kharsawan, Haribhanja, Chandil region regarding the Rath Yatra . On the lines of Jagannathpuri in Odisha, the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra will be taken out in Seraikela-Kharsawan.
The king will put a broom on the road, then the chariot will move forward
Before leaving the chariot, the king of the local royal family will complete the ritual of 'Chhero Pohra' by sweeping the road. After this, the Rath Yatra will take place in the midst of the gathering of the devotees. 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu will be displayed by organizing a Devsabha at the Gundicha Temple in Seraikela. On the other hand, eyes of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra were celebrated before the Rath Yatra. On the occasion, the crowd of devotees gathered to see the new youth form of Mahaprabhu. Bhajan Sandhya was also organized in the temples of Seraikela and Haribhanja. A large number of people are also reaching to visit the grand temples of Lord Jagannath established here.
Lord Jagannath will leave for Gundicha temple with brother and sister on Friday
The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will be taken out on Friday. There is enthusiasm among the devotees of Seraikela, Kharsawan, Haribhanja, Chandil region regarding the Rath Yatra. Earlier on Thursday, the eyes of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra were seen with a vision of the youthful form. During this, a large number of devotees offered prayers to Lord Jagannath.
The vision of the Lord on the chariot gives salvation
It is believed that the mere sight of the Lord on the chariot leads to freedom from all sins. Rath Yatra is the first time when the Lord comes out of the temple to give darshan to the devotees. It is known that the Rath Yatra festival is very popular in Kharsawan district. There are devotees of Lord Jagannath in 100% of the houses of the district and they also offer prayers in their homes. Apart from this, the Rath Yatra of Kharsawan is also about 350 years old. The Rath Yatra is still going on according to the 350-year-old tradition.
Dev Sabha will be organized on Rath Yatra in Seraikela
Fair cum Dev Sabha will be organized on the occasion of Rath Yatra at Gundicha temple of Seraikela. In the Dev Sabha, along with the world form of Lord Vishnu, there will be a vision of Dashavatar. Shri Jagannath Mela Committee is busy in making the Rath Yatra Mela attractive. Manoj Kumar Choudhary, president of the Mela Committee, said that Dev Sabha is being organized in the Gundicha temple complex for the last 14 years. This year 11 fit idols of the world form of Lord Vishnu have been made in the Dev Sabha. Along with this, idols of ten incarnations of Lord Matsya, Varaha, Kachhap, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Kalki incarnation have been installed. The idol has been made in Dev Sabha by sculptors from Kolkata, West Bengal.
