In Uttar Pradesh, the upcoming journey of passengers going on the train side of Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Kanpur can be troublesome.

IRCTC/Indian Railway News: The upcoming journey of passengers going on the train side of Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh can be troublesome. Because Indian Railways has made changes in the routes of many trains of UP (UP Train Change Route Update). Due to which the operation of many trains running on this route will be disrupted for the coming few days. Railways has decided to change the route of many trains.

Let us inform that North Central Railway has changed the routes of trains of Jhansi division. The routes of these trains will be changed for the next few days. In fact, doubling work is going on on Veerangana Laxmibai to Kanpur single line rail section. Due to this changes were made in the routes of the trains. Under this doubling work, non-interlocking work is also to be done between Pama-Rasulpur, Gomamau-Bhimsen stations. It has been decided to change the route of trains running on this route.

Changed route of these trains

The routes of 16093 Chennai Central-Lucknow Junction Express running on 9th & 12th July and 16094 Lucknow Junction-Chennai Central Express departing on 11th & 14th July have been changed.

Apart from these, 12511 Gorakhpur - Kochuveli Raptisagar Express departing on 1st, 3rd, 07th, 08th, 10th and 14th July will also follow the changed route.

After changing the route, all these trains will reach their destination via Veerangana Laxmibai- Gwalior-Agra Cantt-Tundla-Etawa Kanpur Central station.

At the same time, the route of 12521 Barauni - Ernakulam Raptisagar Express and 05303 Gorakhpur - Ernakulam Express Special has also been changed. Both these trains will go to the destination via Kanpur Central-Etawa-Bhind Gwalior-Veerangana Laxmibai station along with the changed route.
