Employment opportunities will be created for the youth
The Prime Minister said that under this thinking, we have decided that 7 Mega Textile Parks will be built to increase the country's exports in textiles. If a textile park is established, then the farmers benefit. Workers get work. Business and business also flourishes. One of these Mega Textile Park is also going to be constructed in Telangana. If the textile park will be built here, the farmers of Telangana will not only benefit, but new employment opportunities will be created for thousands of youth here. He said that Hyderabad is the main center of self-reliance of the country.
Increase in MSP of paddy
The Prime Minister said that the life of the farmers of Telangana should be easy. They should get the benefit of their produce. The government is working for this. The central government is working on 5 big projects involving water worth more than Rs 35,000 crore. In the last 6 years, the Center has procured paddy worth Rs 1 lakh crore from the farmers of Telangana. One and a half times the cost has also been given. This time too, the MSP of paddy has been increased by Rs 80 to more than Rs 2,000 per quintal.
Better connectivity to every nook and corner of Telangana
The Prime Minister said that modern infrastructure is very important for the development of every sector, be it agriculture or industry. It is our endeavor that the best connectivity should reach every nook and corner of Telangana. The length of the National Highway in Telangana has doubled in the last 8 years. In the year 2014, there were about 2,500 km of National Highways in the state of Telangana, today there is a network of 5 thousand km.
Villages also connected with National Highway
He said that more than 2,700 km of roads have been built connecting not only the cities but also the villages with the National Highway. Under the third phase of PM Gramin Sadak Yojana, more than Rs 1,700 crore has been approved for about two and a half thousand km of new roads.
Unprecedented work done for connectivity
The BJP-led central government is doing unprecedented work to ease traffic in Hyderabad. The central government is building several flyovers and elevated corridors of 4 and 6 lanes at a cost of 1500 crores. In order to reduce the problem of traffic jam in the Hi-Tech city, a regional ring road of 350 km radius is also going to be built.
180 km long new railway line laid
PM Modi said that it is our endeavor that the best connectivity should reach every nook and corner of Telangana. The length of the National Highway has doubled in the last 8 years. In Railways also, projects worth more than 31 thousand crores have been approved for Telangana in 8 years. 180 km long new railway line has been laid.
