The UGC has asked all universities and colleges, including higher educational institutions, to wait for the release of CBSE 12th results before the process of enrolling in undergraduate courses.

The UGC has asked all the universities and colleges of Jharkhand to wait for the CBSE 12th result before taking admission in the graduation. At the same time, this time the enrollment process will be completed in all the universities of Jharkhand under the new education policy. UGC Secretary Prof Rajneesh Jain has sent a letter to the principals and directors of all colleges and institutions, including the vice-chancellors of universities.

He has said that this time separate examinations of term one and term two were taken by the CBSE board in view of Kovid. Schools have already been informed about the result of term one, while evaluation of term two is going on from the board level and the process of preparing the result has been started. The final result will be declared on the basis of performance of both the terms by adding weightage. The entire process of releasing the result will take about a month.

This time the challenge to complete the enrollment process from the Chancellor's portal: This time the enrollment process will be completed under the new education policy in all the universities of Jharkhand. The state government has given its consent to start teaching as per the new education policy from the session 2022-23. In this situation, technical challenge will have to be faced in completing the enrollment process from the chancellor's portal in the state university.

Under the new education policy at the state government level, the committee has not yet submitted its report to the Higher and Technical Education Department to start the education and enrollment process. KK Khandelwal, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher and Technical Education Department, is the chairman of the committee and is currently on leave.

By the way, the committee has prepared the report. Under the new education policy, many new subjects including a total of 30 subjects will be included in the portal. In this, the student of one faculty will be allowed to keep the subject of other faculty as well. Subject wise mapping will have to be done before enrollment. Under this, the infrastructure of the college and availability of teachers will have to be kept in mind.

The entire responsibility of monitoring, including opening and closing the portal, lies with the Higher Education Department and NIC. In this situation, there is every possibility of delay in starting the enrollment process under the new education policy. Meanwhile, the university administration has decided not to take enrollment in vocational courses from the chancellor's portal. Instructions have been given to start the enrollment process under vocational courses in all universities and colleges.
