RPF released 8 accused on PR bond against Agneepath for stopping train in Jamshedpur

Eight students accused of stopping the train against Agneepath were arrested by the RPF after raiding the Telco Stadium.

Eight students accused of stopping the train against Agneepath in Jugsalai in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand were arrested by RPF on Thursday morning at the Telco Stadium at 7:30 am. The students were identified on the basis of video recordings and CCTV footage. Though the youths protested the surprise action at the time of arrest, but due to the intelligence of the team of Tatanagar RPF Post, eight accused students were brought to the post. He was released from RPF post on PR bond.

Action was taken against 8 students who stopped the train while protesting against the Agneepath scheme of the Central Government in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The RPF team raided the Telco Stadium and arrested them. Action was taken on the basis of video recording and CCTV footage. However, he was released from the RPF post on PR bond.

Let us tell you that about 1 month ago, on 17th June 2022, the Tata-Danapur and South Bihar train was stopped by the students against Agneepath near the Jugsalai railway gate. Apart from RPF officers here, East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav and SSP Tamil Vanan jointly pacified the protesting girl students and took action to remove the students from the railway line. In addition to the RPF post, a case was registered against 132 unidentified protesters at Jugsalai police station regarding this incident. Here, the students were outraged by the surprise action by RPF Tatanagar Post.
