For this reason, traffic changes are made on many roads in view of the pressure of the crowd. This time too, during the Shravani Mela, several alternative routes have been started to reduce the pressure on Kanwar Path and on the main roads.

Ban on entry of vehicles in Sultanganj Mela premises

The distance from Sultanganj to Babadham is 95 km via Kachha Kanwaria Path. For this reason, the entry of vehicles in the Sultanganj Mela complex has been banned. Trains going from Bhagalpur to Sultanganj will go from Akbarnagar to Sultanganj and Asarganj. At the same time, trains coming from Munger side will be diverted from Bariarpur. Along with this, arrangements have also been made for parking along three roads outside Sultanganj.

Changed system in Bhagalpurย

On the other hand, devotees from Pul Ghat and SM College Ghat at Barari in Bhagalpur go to the Jaithod Nath temple in Amarpur, Banka to offer water every Sunday by taking Ganga water. During this, devotees complete the journey of the Jithornath temple, 31 km away on foot. A large number of Kanwariyas used to go through Kachari, Bhikhanpur, Bholanath bridge, Bagbari till now. At the same time, this time Kanwaria will go directly from Burari bypass to flyover via Aliganj to offer water.
