NIA officers also participated in the interrogation
Reports of the conduct of anti-national activities in Phulwari Sharif and the suspected terrorists associated with it are also being reported to the central agencies. NIA officers themselves are also involved in its investigation. On Monday, along with the NIA, IB officers were also involved in the continuous day-long interrogation of the accused Armaan and Athar.
Central agencies will help in the investigation of international connections
At present, the ATS will investigate the case related to the school of terror in Phulwari. Central agencies can help ATS in checking connections of Ghazwa-e-Hind WhatsApp group with other countries. The joint team of NIA, RAW and IB is in touch with the ATS officials. This team has also held a meeting with ATS officers. Sources said that the police is preparing to take Danish arrested from Phulwari Sharif on remand. It is known that Danish has about two thousand Facebook friends. These include people from Pakistan, Bangladesh and other countries. The police can interrogate Danish on many other points ranging from his Pak connection.
NIA police station will open in Bihar
In view of the increased cases of terrorist activities in Bihar, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will open a police station in Patna. NI has proposed to the state government to open a police station in Bihar. At present, there is no NIA police station in any district including Patna in Bihar. Here the work is done only through the camp office. As soon as the permission of the Bihar government is received, the police station of the National Investigation Agency will open in the capital Patna. According to sources, at present the cases related to NIA of Bihar are handled under the supervision of Ranchi office.
