On July 15, in Bahera Zahidpur village of Nanpur police station area, the case of stabbing a youth named Ankit Kumar Jha for allegedly being a supporter of Nupur Sharma in a knife-fighting case between two groups has proved to be false in the investigation of the police.
Nupur Sharma is not mentioned anywhere in the FIR
After the investigation of the police, SP Har Kishore Rai told on Tuesday that on the basis of written statement of Ashish Kumar Jha, brother of injured Ankit Jha, an FIR was registered at Nanpur police station on July 16. Nowhere in the said FIR, there is talk of attack for being a supporter of Nupur Sharma.
The talk of the attack on the supporter of Nupur Sharma of the injured youth had come in some media, which was investigated. The allegation of changing the statement on the police is not true. According to the police, the place where the attack is said to have taken place in a dispute between the two groups, was a drug den. This case of assault due to intoxication has come to the fore.
Relatives went to Darbhanga, house locked
On the other hand, Nanpur police have recovered three quintals of cannabis from the shop located in the pagoda of rural Vijay Sah. In this case, cannabis seller Vijay Sah and his mother Urmila Devi have been arrested. Ankit Jha, who was badly injured in knife fighting, is undergoing treatment at DMCH, Darbhanga. All the members of his family have locked the house and gone to Darbhanga for treatment. In view of the tension between the two groups in the village, the police team is camping.
Father had made this allegation
Ankit's father Manoj Jha had alleged that his son had gone to the water shop to eat paan. Standing next to the shop, he was watching Nupur Sharma's video on his mobile. During this time Mohammad Bilal came with his companions. He got angry after seeing Ankit's video of Nupur. After this the accused started abusing Ankit by blowing cigarette smoke on his face. On opposing this, the accused attacked him with knives. Ankit has been stabbed six times on his body. The police have removed Nupur Sharma's name in the FIR. Ankit's father has demanded strict legal action apart from the arrest of the attackers.
