The smugglers carrying cattle from Odisha were coming in a pickup van via Kolebira in Simdega.

Ranchi: A new revelation has come to light in the Sandhya Topno murder case. According to the police, the cattle smugglers were coming from Odisha in a pickup van from Kolebira road in Simdega. After getting information about this, Gumla police informed Basia police about it. After which the Basia police started checking by putting up barricades, but from there they went ahead with the barricading. Then on the information of Basia police, the local police tried to stop the pickup van by installing a highway on the road in Khunti's Torpa.

But even there they failed

And they escaped from the pickup van by dodging the police. Then the police of both places informed the Tupudana police. After this, checking was started under the leadership of Inspector Sandhya in Old Hulhundu of Tupudana. During this, a car came, which two policemen started checking. But no barricading was put up during checking.

Meanwhile, the pickup van was seen coming. Sandhya herself gestured to stop him by giving her hand. After this the speed of pickup decreased. Seeing this, Sandhya came in front of the vehicle. Suddenly the speed of the pickup van increased, due to which Sandhya came in its grip. After this, the van driver also pushed the police patrol vehicle. Then dragging Sandhya, the pickup van driver went ahead about 100 meters. After this the wheel of the vehicle exploded.

The matter of serious injuries to Sandhya's head and chest has come to the fore. According to the information, the cattle smugglers had reached Hulhundu after covering a distance of 350 km from Odisha in a pickup van. Patrol vehicle constable Kishor Kerketta said that we were not informed that animal smugglers were coming by breaking the barricading. On knowing this information, we would also do vehicle checking carefully.
